(To commemorate, for example, a seemingly unimportant fact: In 1998, a commercial for Pizza Hut was broadcast around the world, in which former President of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev goes to a Pizza Hut restaurant with a young girl in the Red Square. A family sitting at a nearby table recognizes him. Two men in the family argue about the legacy of the politician: ‘Because of him, we have economic confusion!’, ‘Because of him, we have opportunity!’, ‘Because of him, we have political instability!’, ‘Because of him, we have freedom!’, ‘Complete chaos!’, ‘Hope!’, ‘Political instability!’ An old lady interrupts: ‘Because of him we have many things ... ... like Pizza Hut!’. All agree on this point, and exclaim: ‘Hail to Gorbachev!’, raising their slice of pizza in a toast. Other customers join in. Gorbachev smiles and waves. The voiceover says: ‘Sometimes, nothing brings people together better than a nice hot pizza from Pizza Hut.’ The chorus of acclamations is heard even louder, as if it resonating throughout Moscow. A slogan concludes: Pizza Hut: Good Friends, Great Pizza)
